Research Interests

My research focuses on statistical methodology and machine learning for spatial and spatiotemporal data. My current work focuses on developing deep learning and attention-based methods that incorporate spatial dependence and functional inputs. My doctoral research focused on developing empirical likelihood methods and variable selection techniques for spatial regression models.
